Natural Steel is a realistic, slightly cool steel metallic in AK's 3rd Generation acrylic — finely-milled for a smooth metal finish by brush or airbrush. The honest workhorse for blades, tools and machinery.

Best for

• Realistic bare steel on blades and tools
• Machinery and mechanical detail
• A neutral base for metal weathering

Shake it well, apply over a dark base, and shade with washes and pigments for used metal. Thin it a touch for airbrush work; takes washes cleanly.
