Our kit provides an easy upgrade to LED lighting for both ends.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSupplied as a kit comprising two pre-assembled boards For DC use simply unclip the tops of the loco's. Identify the wiring, remove the bulbs and solder these boards into place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProvides correct directional lighting and works with either DC and DCC. Note for DCC use you'll need two decoders, one in the driving car and one in the dummy to correctly operate the headlights.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn DC mode you'll find the LED's come on at full brightness at a much lower speed and do not change brightness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFull easy-to-follow instructions supplied including fitting the two DCC decoders.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo versions available. Traditional warm white and modern cool white. If replicating the look of the original 1980's locomotive, we recommend the warm white version.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease see the photographs and ensure you have the correct model HST. Your loco may have a different livery but the internals must be the same.
